Independent review, documented decisions.

Our review workflow is designed to be fair, confidential and relevant to the manuscript’s field.

Stage 01

Editorial screening

Editors check scope, completeness, presentation, ethical declarations and basic scholarly readiness. Manuscripts outside the journal scope or below minimum standards may be declined without external review.

Stage 02

Reviewer assignment

Suitable manuscripts are assigned to independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers must disclose conflicts of interest and keep manuscripts confidential.

Stage 03

Recommendation and revision

Authors receive a consolidated editorial decision and should respond to each substantive comment. A revised manuscript may return to the same reviewers.

  • Accept without changes
  • Minor revision
  • Major revision
  • Decline with reasons
Stage 04

Final editorial decision

Editors consider reviewer reports, author responses and journal policy. Reviewer recommendations inform the decision, but final responsibility remains with the journal editor.
